This Master data section creates and maintains settings for minimum resolutions of images that were placed in layout applications.
The comparison is based on the net resolution, not the absolute resolution, like this: when a layout document is checked in, and the respective option is activated in the interface settings of the layout application, the censhare client will calculate the actual resolution of the image on the page, considering the scale factor and the internal resolution of the image file. If the calculated value is lower than the threshold defined in this Master data section, a warning message will be issued to the user.
MIME Type: the setting must be bound to one of the defined Mime-Types.
Colour space: the setting must be bound to one of the hardcoded color spaces.
Domain: the setting can optionally be limited to a 1st domain. If no domain is defined the setting applies to all domains.
2nd Domain: the setting can optionally be limited to a 2nd domain. If no 2nd domain is defined the setting applies to all 2nd domains.
Minimal DPI: the actual resolution value in dots per inch.
