Excerpt

No more accidental access for standard users.

must

Must now be a system user

The Render- and the Service-Client can only be launched as a user with the right System user.

Error message when the system user is not activated or the user is not authorized anymore.

Description:

From now on it is necessary to explicitly authorize the user under whose login the Render- and the Service-Client should operate. To do this navigate to the appropriate user in the Admin-Cient, edit its master data where the new check-box 'system user' must be enabled.

Enable the 'system user' in the user's master data.

Example:

Previously it was possible for an user to login inadvertently using the Service-Client or the Render-Client, even though he or she was not a key user or administrator. These tripping hazards have been removed with the current clients. It appears an error message indicating the missing authorization. Access is limited only to the predefined users. Another benefit: the password for the system user never expires. So it can not cause unexpected failures of services that are used by a system user.

Configuration

You must mark the check-box 'system user' in the master data for each relevant user. Otherwise, an error message appears after login. The user 'web-default' used for the web client is system user by default.
