The Hybrid Mode is the first iteration of the cenTaur platform development. Further iterations will be published with the goal to transit from censhare to cenTaur.
What cenTaur platform offers you:
- A continuously evolving cenTaur architecture.
- APIs to access cenTaur. The APIs are mostly implemented and stable.
- New customization possibilities that are continuously growing.
- A user interface, called cenario, for the web browser that is continuously extended.
- The censhare platform, a matured system that provides a full-featured application.
- All implemented customizations that were added to your censhare platform to meet special requirements.
What the Hybrid Mode offers you:
censhare and cenTaur will coexist during the roll-out period and until cenTaur is fully operational, including your customizations. At the end, you will switch completely to cenTaur.
The Hybrid Mode concatenates the old and the new world. It allows to run cenTaur and censhare Server with the same production data. No data migration is necessary. Users can work with the web interfaces of old and new world at the same time. When cenTaur is completely ready, the censhare Server can be easily switched off.
The core of the Hybrid Mode is the censhare Server. For a transition phase, cenTaur also runs a censhare Server to provide its functionality. The Hybrid Mode allows cenTaur to use a censhare Server that is running outside of cenTaur. This can also be an existing censhare Server of a running installation.
